Wild Dakshina Marlier:
The truth will set me free; this is why I write and blog. I live on Kauai Island, Hawaii where I work primarily as an adventure guide but also in a bookstore for the sheer love of it, adore nature, people, exploring the world, writing, dancing, playing music and singing, photography, and learning new things. I also love following whims and seeing where they lead me, becoming obsessed with strange little stories or intriguing ideas and following them to their sources, and picking points on a map and going there. I’ll go on any adventure, so feel free to throw some at me!

The truth will set u free but first it will piss u off!!:) ur so cool email me!
Dakshina devi,
Hare Krsna! Paul Rejniak/Panca tattva dasa {tachyon teacher /freind … just found you by fluke while browsing .. thought I’d drop a line and say hello … hope things are well
Hari Bol!
It’s SO nice to hear from you! What a wonderful surprise…. I just got back to Kaua’i Island from my second sojourn in Alaska (I spent 4 months there working this summer guiding bike tours, then biked down the coast to Washington State and flew home a couple weeks later..) As you may have noticed, I don’t update this often (never really did, though perhaps at a later time in my life I will!) but if you’d like to shoot me an email at Fauvish@gmail.com, it’ll be easier for us to be in touch that way.
How have you been, and what have you been up to lately? Are you in North Carolina? I hope everything is going wonderfully…. it would be so nice to see you and speak with you again someday!
I’ll be starting my winter job soon— doing conservation work in the Northwest Hawaiian Islands (a UNESCO world heritage site that’s closed to most people except a few researchers…) I’ll be in the French Frigate Shoals, a small atoll where most of the green sea turtles, hawaiian monk seals, and thousands of unique species of birds go to have babies and migrate for 4 months with 5 other people…. and we won’t have internet access. Only mail that comes on a boat a couple of times during our time there– and more than likely, i’ll be heading back to Alaska next spring because it’s wonderful up there.
Let me know what you’re up to! Let’s keep in touch!
With love, your friend Dakshina
